Lieutenant-Commander Angus Fedoruk, AFNI, has held senior leadership positions at sea and ashore. A Naval Warfare Officer in the Royal Canadian Navy, he has plied the waters of the East and West coasts of North America, the Caribbean, and Western Europe. Ashore he has served as a classroom and simulation instructor and conducted practical training assessments at sea, has served as a director of training, an advisor on Naval personnel policy and organization, and senior manager of Lessons Learned in Canada's Maritime Forces Pacific Headquarters.
In his current Naval appointment at the Naval Training Development Centre (Pacific), he is a Senior Leadership Manager responsible for developing recruit training for the Naval Reserve, plus history and culture education, and leadership and ethics programs for the entire Navy.
Lieutenant-Commander Fedoruk holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a Master of Education, a BC Instructor Diploma, and is a Certified Knowledge Specialist in Taxonomy and Certified Knowledge Manager. He is a past Honourable Secretary and current Chair for the Nautical Institute British Columbia Branch, and a member of the International Council of the Institute.
